Angela is a mezzo soprano who has studied music both privately and in the college of music Dublin. Her musical journey began as a soloist in school productions and includes three years as a Bunratty singer/entertainer. Angela has also been a soloist with several musical societies and choirs including the acclaimed choir Adagio. As well as being a member of Celtic Shadows she also duets with prize-winning singer/songwriter Paul Flood.
Mary Keenan: Harpist
Mary’s musical origins are in traditional Irish music. Over the years she has studied harp privately and has broadened her repertoire to include both classical and contemporary music. Mary has enjoyed performing solo and with a variety of musical groups at private and corporate functions.
Jeanette Behan: Flautist
Jeanette has also studied flute privately having been introduced to music through the Leaving Certificate Musicianship course. As a result of completing music studies at third level, Jeanette was bitten by the performance bug and has since played flute for several musical societies/orchestras and at many corporate functions.
Over the years we have developed a great friendship which adds to the genuine pleasure and enjoyment we gain from performing together as Celtic Shadows. We would like to think that this adds to the relaxed yet professional service we provide.
......Our most recent musical venture together has been the formation of the group 5thString which includes singer/songwriter Paul Flood and violinist Lisa Dowling. To date we have supported performers such as Eimear Quinn, Kila and The Dublin Gospel choir.
